Days ago, the entire state of Texas experienced harsh weather conditions which significantly affected the power grid and water supply. With the state’s power supply being the only independent from the national power grid and federal regulation, the situation has quickly become a heated political debate. Simultaneously, opposing sides point the finger to blame various energy sources, whether it’s the underperformance of renewable energies or the over-reliance of fossil fuels. It is clear that Texas will be used as the example to push further regulation and fast track the country towards the Green New Deal.
